Press – Reach a Tween Girl Audience

On October 19, 2011, Tween Trends was featured in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in a story related to the Pittsburgh Film Office and targeting tweens. Rebecca Ganyier was interviewed for the story. Here is an excerpt:

But suppose a studio wanted to promote the scene directly to Mr. Lautner’s target tween girl audience? That’s where firms such as Allison Park-based iTwixie, a social networking site devoted to teen girls, can make an impact.

Rebecca Gaynier, iTwixie founder and CEO, said companies can benefit from data provided through the Tween Trends service, which links directly with young users for unfiltered opinions.

“Any movie producer or entertainment groups seeking powerful engagement with an audience, that’s something we can help to facilitate,” she said.

Unfortunately they did get the gist of our service as we don’t link directly to users on iTiwixie. In general the message is correct, if you are looking to connect with tweens we can help.

Press – iTwixie Noted as Top Site for Tweens

October 11, 2011 – iTwixie is mentioned on Baltimore’s ABC2 as a top website for tweens.

iTwixie is another site aimed at girls in the tween age range. The site promotes positive body image and encourages girls to feel good about themselves for being intelligent, curious and full of ideas. The site is full of games, puzzles and a “Parents Circle” that offers suggestions for parents on which books their child should read and how to find the right activities for them.
